## One Trade. One Protocol. Every Permit Filed.

Toronto Electrical Panel Upgrade specialises in one thing: replacing outdated electrical panels and undersized service capacity so homes and businesses across Toronto and the GTA can safely carry modern electrical demand. We are not a general electrical shop that also does panels. Panels, service upgrades, fuse box replacement, subpanels and service entrance work are the entire business.

Every project runs the same protocol: on-site assessment, load calculation per OESC Section 8, ESA permit application, Toronto Hydro or Hydro One coordination, panel and service replacement, final ESA inspection, and a documented handoff. The order never changes, which is why the install date we give you holds and the invoice matches the quote.

Our crew works Toronto's full housing stock, from pre-1960 knob-and-tube era homes in Cabbagetown and The Beaches, through post-war brick bungalows in Scarborough and Etobicoke, to modern infills and condo conversions across the core. Each era hands us a different problem: Edison-base fuse blocks, split-bus panels, Federal Pioneer Stab-Lok enclosures, aluminum branch wiring, corroded masts. Seeing the same patterns week after week is what lets us quote accurately instead of hedging.

We work as an anonymous crew by choice. There is no founder story to sell here. What we put in front of you instead is the licence number on the ESA permit, the itemised quote, and the Certificate of Inspection at the end.

### What we will tell you honestly

- When your existing 100A or 200A service has headroom and a subpanel solves the problem for less money.
- When an EVEMS load-management device is a better answer than a full service upgrade.
- When a panel replacement at the same amperage is enough and a service change is not needed.
- When the honest answer is 200A rather than 100A, because the utility work costs the same either way.
- When a mast, meter base or grounding electrode conductor has to be included, before we quote it.

## Licences, Coverage and Code Compliance

The four items that decide whether panel work is legal, insurable and acceptable to an ESA inspector.

- ### ECRA/ESA Licensed Electrical Contractor

The licence that allows us to file a Notification of Work and have an ESA inspector attend the job. Every panel upgrade runs under it.

- ### WSIB Certified

Workplace coverage in place for the crew on your property, which matters on any job where the service is de-energized and reworked.

- ### $2M General Liability Coverage

Certificate available on request before work starts, and routinely requested by property managers and commercial landlords.

- ### OESC-Compliant Installations

Load calculations to Section 8, bonding and grounding to Section 10, and service entrance work to Section 6 of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.

## Meet Our Crew

We work as a crew rather than named personalities. Two licensed crew members attend every panel job, which is how the disconnect, install and inspection all land in one day.

### The Toronto Electrical Panel Upgrade Crew

Field Operations Crew

Our crew handles residential, commercial, and industrial electrical panel upgrades across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. ## Assessed. Calculated. Permitted. Inspected.

The six-step protocol every panel upgrade follows, residential or commercial.

1. 01

    ### On-site assessment

Existing service size, panel brand and condition, meter base, mast or lateral, grounding, and the loads you plan to add.

2. 02

    ### Load calculation

OESC Section 8 demand calculation covering the existing house plus the EV charger, heat pump, range or suite on the plan.

3. 03

    ### ESA permit application

Notification of Work filed under our contractor licence with the quoted scope, and the inspection slot requested.

4. 04

    ### Utility coordination

Service layout approval and the disconnect and reconnect window booked with whichever utility holds the service.

5. 05

    ### Panel and service replacement

Load centre, meter base and service entrance conductors replaced, circuits transferred, terminations torqued, panel labelled.

6. 06

    ### Inspection and documented handoff

ESA inspection, utility reconnect, then the Certificate of Inspection, panel schedule and itemised invoice.
