Free Estimate FAQs
What does the estimate cover?
The existing service size and condition, panel brand and remaining capacity, meter base and service entrance, grounding and bonding, and the demand calculation for your planned loads. You get a written itemised quote, not a verbal number.
Is there any charge for the visit?
No. On-site estimates are free anywhere inside our Toronto and GTA service radius, and there is no obligation to proceed.
How long does the visit take?
Most residential assessments take 30 to 45 minutes. Commercial and industrial sites take longer because the load study and distribution review are more involved.
When can the work start after I accept?
Once the quote is accepted we file the ESA Notification of Work and request the utility disconnect window. The install date is set by that window, which is why we request it immediately rather than after material arrives.
Will you quote a service upgrade I do not need?
No. If the demand calculation shows headroom on your existing service, we quote the subpanel, dedicated circuit or EVEMS device that actually solves the problem instead of a full service change.
Prefer to Book by Phone?
Call the crew directly and we will read the panel details with you and set the assessment date.
- ESA permit and final inspection included
- Toronto Hydro coordination handled
- No hidden fees on the written quote
