1. Agreement to These Terms

By using this website or requesting a quote from Toronto Electrical Panel Upgrade, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable Ontario and Canadian law. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit a request.

2. Services We Provide

Toronto Electrical Panel Upgrade is an ECRA/ESA licensed electrical contractor specialising in electrical panel upgrades and service capacity work across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, including:

  • 100A to 200A and 60A to 100A residential service upgrades
  • 200A service upgrades and electrical panel replacement
  • Fuse box to breaker panel conversions
  • Federal Pacific Stab-Lok and Federal Pioneer panel replacement
  • Insurance-required electrical upgrades and aluminum wiring remediation
  • EV charger, hot tub and basement-suite electrical upgrades and subpanels
  • Commercial 200A to 400A service upgrades for restaurants, offices and retail units
  • Industrial three-phase, 600V, warehouse and manufacturing facility service upgrades

3. Quotes and Pricing

On-site estimates are free within our service area. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and confirmed in a written itemised quote that shows labour, materials, the ESA permit fee and the utility coordination fee separately. Price ranges published on this website are guidance only, not an offer. A quote is valid for the period stated on the quote itself.

Where conditions found after the service is opened change the scope, for example a meter base, service mast or grounding electrode conductor that has to be replaced, we stop and issue a revised written quote before continuing.

4. Permits, Inspection and Utility Coordination

Every panel upgrade we perform includes an Electrical Safety Authority Notification of Work and a final ESA inspection. Where the service size or meter base changes, the local distribution utility must disconnect and reconnect the service. We book and coordinate those appointments, but the utility and the Electrical Safety Authority control their own scheduling, and delays on their side are outside our control.

5. Scheduling and Cancellation

Please give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booked assessment or install date. Late cancellation of an install date may be subject to a fee where the utility disconnect window and material have already been committed.

6. Access and Site Conditions

You agree to provide safe access to the panel, meter base and service entrance on the booked date, and to confirm that you own or are authorised to instruct work on the property. Where a property manager, condominium board or landlord controls access to a meter room, arranging that access is your responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Warranties

Workmanship is performed to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and verified by ESA inspection. Any product warranty on a load centre, breaker, meter base or other component is provided by the manufacturer of that product, for example Siemens, Square D / Schneider Electric, Eaton or GE, on their terms. We pass those terms to you and do not extend or replace them.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Toronto Electrical Panel Upgrade is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or from delays caused by a utility, the Electrical Safety Authority, a municipal department or a third-party supplier.

9. Website Content

Cost ranges, timelines, code references and technical explanations on this website are general information for Toronto and GTA properties. They are not a substitute for an on-site assessment and an OESC Section 8 load calculation for your specific property.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, layout and images, is the property of Toronto Electrical Panel Upgrade and is protected by Canadian copyright law. Do not reproduce it without written permission.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page.
